The case against a European Monetary Fund
After 154 economists hit out at the eurozone's bid to create a "liability union", the German-based Centre for European Policy says a revamped EMF with a fiscal backstop for banks would break German constitutional law, "create false incentives, and reduce the pressure to reform".
