The cep | Centre for European Policy is a European think tank funded by the non-profit Stiftung Ordnungspolitik. Its work is based on the principles of the free market economy.

The Centres for European Policy Network is made up of the cep institutes in Germany, France and Italy.

These institutes work closely together to promote freedom in Europe and ensure stability beyond the EU in the face of geopolitical change.

cep Team

The cep team is primarily made up of lawyers and economists. They analyse current EU legislation in Berlin, Freiburg, Paris and Rome. The researchers are supported by the communications and media department, the Executive Board office and native-speaker translators.

Our traffic lights system

Our traffic lights system

The individual directives and proposals of EU legislative projects are assessed visually using the three traffic light colours red, yellow and green. The traffic light system has established itself as a trademark of the Centre for European Policy (cep) since the think tank was founded.
