We want a better Europe, not a British Europe, says EPP parliamentary leader

Manfred Weber makes remarks in interview with Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung

The parliamentary group leader of the European People's Party (EPP), Manfred Weber, told Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung that “we want to help (British Prime Minister David) Cameron but we don't want a British Europe, we want a better Europe.” EPP party leader Joseph Daul recently said: “We want Britain to remain in the European Union, but we cannot accept it at any price. That's very clear.” The cep believes that Cameron will not be able to push through major reform changes in his negotiations with the leaders of the other EU member states.
