Schaeuble reaffirms opposition to common deposit guarantee scheme

German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble at an event in Berlin marking the 10th anniversary of the cep strictly rejected the idea of introducing a common deposit guarantee scheme on the European level right now. “On this I’m quite stubborn,” the minister said.
