Prof. Dr. Lüder Gerken
Lüder Gerken is Chairman of the Board of the Centrum für Europäische Politik, Chairman of the Stiftung Ordnungspolitik, Chairman of the Friedrich-August-von-Hayek-Stiftung and Honorary Professor at the Jacobs University in Bremen.
After studying economics and law (1988, Dr. rer. pol.; 1991, First State Examination in Law, 1985 Graduate Economist) Gerken led the Walter-Eucken-Institut in Freiburg im Breisgau from 1991 to 2001. He was awarded his professorship in 1998 from the University of Bayreuth. He has been Chairman of the Stiftung Ordnungspolitik and of the Friedrich-August-von-Hayek-Stiftung since 1999. From 2001 to 2004, Gerken was Chairman of the Stiftung Marktwirtschaft in Berlin. He has been Chairman of the Centrum für Europäische Politik since 2005.
Christoph Ehlers, LL.M.
Christoph Ehlers is a Member of the Board of the Stiftung Ordnungspolitik.
Between 1983 and 1997, after graduating in Law and Business Studies from the Universities of Constance and San Diego, he became Assistant to the Chairman of the Board of the Commerzbank AG, Dr. Walter Seipp and Head of the bank’s Freiburg branch. Since 1997 he has been working as a lawyer and as Managing Director of the Equicore Beteiligungs GmbH. He has been on the Board of the Stiftung Ordnungspolitik since 1999.
