Schaeuble wants Greece to deliver on its reform pledge

German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble warned Wednesday in an interview with German radio station SWR that Greece will not recieve any further financial aid unless it puts numbers to its new reform goals. Greece will now enter into technical negotiations with the EU, the ECB and the IMF to specify its planned reforms. „However, the matter will have vanished from the eye of the public by then and it has to be feared that Greece will be able to water down many of its reform commitments,“ cep President Lueder Gerken warned. „In the end we’ll have again one of these typical foul trade-offs.“
