Tusk: Most criticial moment in EU's history

Greece has been given a deadline by its Eurozone peers until the end of the week to come up with a proposal for reforms in return for new financial support. “Until now I have avoided talking about deadlines, but tonight I have to say loud and clear that the final deadline ends this week,” EU Council President Donald Tusk said at the end of Tuesday’s euro summit. EU heads of states and governments will meet on Sunday to decide about the future of Greece in the Eurozone. Tusk said the EU may face “the most critical moment” in its history. EU Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker said he had detailed plans to cope with a Greek exit from the Eurozone. cep economist Bert Van Roosebeke said in a radio interview with Germany’s Deutsche Welle that “it's very open whether a solution that could keep Greece in the Eurozone will be found or not.”
